Is it a Mah'Nah plush, or did he try to eat a giant rock and is dealing with the consequences? :P

he screams for he does not know

I have a similar reaction when I find cool ass bugs. :P

Nice stuff! Though even with this knida scratchy lineart styled image, making the lines on the handle and base of the bug net would help to get full clarity marks and make it stand out just a little bit better. Otherwise this looks pretty dang solid.

Keep it up! :D

So of course, I was around while you were working on this made all previous suggestions about the lineart thick-to-thin-strategies, so I need not say anything about that. :)

Since you have the feet angled in such a way, it would look better if the torso had some mild twist to it. While someone can stand facing forwards and have their feet angled to the side, if you try to do it in real life it's a little awkward and uncomfortable. Give it a shot and you'll see what I mean.

A way to help plus up poses is to keep an eye on feet positions and shoulders, as this will help to mentally train your brain, and then that helps you figure out the torso. With shoulders and feet figured out, twists can be drawn and reinforced with shirt zippers and cloth crumples to get the pose nailed down. Photo ref always helps.

And of course, the hands are a little bit small, but hands are tricky for everyone, especially me. haha

That all said, I'm liking the improvement I'm seeing from even just a couple of weeks ago. Keep it up!

He looks so happy!
Thanks again Maffo. :)

Now, see...normally one could assume that Sherwin is mildly anti-social towards his fellow humans...but upon closer inspection, all but one of the people on the other side of the canal are faceless, and I'd be a little concerned myself. :P

In all seriousness, a well detailed pseudo-impressionist piece! I like the personality of all the different flamingos and how each spot has a character with a good pose.

The brick work of everything is also nicely done, and I may have to study this to figure out how the heck impressionism makes things mega-detailed when zoomed slightly out.
I know it's brain trickery, but gosh dang I can't seem to figure it out yet. :P

Keep it up! :)

Ridley is absolutely the kind of roommate that would try to diminish someone else's accomplishments. :P

Fun stuff! It's extra impressive since it's all done with ink and water colour, since I have a heck of a time trying not to bleed all the colours over each other. haha

Keep up the good work!

ClmPaper responds:

Thanks! It's actually all copics in this one though!
If you got problems with watercolour bleeding all over the place you should wait for it to dry! Then you can go over it / create harsh lines and borders. Otherwise itll bleed into eachother.

Makes me think if one of the EBF games had an unlockable nightmare mode where you have to move quick and avoid a Demon No Legs to avoid an unbeatable boss. :P

Mikey the Microwave may be imposing and powerful, but I won't let anything come between me and re-heated macaroni!!!

That feeling when you forgot to take the frozen meat out of the freezer before Dad gets home, and also the house and the neighborhood is flying away. :P

Nice stuff!
Some good articulation with the poses, and it's cool to see your harpies using their wings as hands in different ways!

A whole lot of emotion getting shown by them, but I also wonder if they are the internal emotions of the blue haired girl?

Only thing that could use some touching up is the rocks of the town floating away. While off in the distance, the closer rock could have a tiny bit more detailing than the ones further away to show some depth.

Either way, good stuff!

Oddlem responds:

OOOOOOH maybe I should have found a way to communicate that better, I was trying to show that she went through a bunch of different reactions and then eventually sat down

ALSO that's another thing I def could have done better, the smaller rocks were more in the foreground and I should have put some in front of the big one to communicate their depth

thank you for all the feedback!! it's def stuff I should be paying more attention to
AND also thank you for all the compliments!!

Certainly far improved from the first version we saw on the Discord. :)

The pose has Chutey's arms going in two different directions and with different bends makes it a little tricky for me to tell how anatomical it is, but my guess is you were trying to show off how articulated this model was, and more power to ya!

Chutney's design is also known to fluctuate a fair bit from toon to toon, but his eyes are usually a bit bigger to make for more exaggerated expressions and his leaf and fruit foot lumps are a little on the small side too.

The 3D clothing is looking swanky though! The sleeves have some hang and I can even see pocket detailing near the bottom of the hoodie.

So considering where this rig came from, it's looking less stiff already! Different articulation and a spine than bends and leans more in motion will look much more impressive as you gradually get there.

Keep it up Proffessor!
