While it definitely fit the mood of the Daycare Scene this debuted in, it also kind of just sounds like a nighttime theme for the show that could be used anywhere. :P

ChutneyGlaze responds:

Yeah it would wouldn't it?

This song has some rad Rayman 3 vibes on for it!
Not sure if you've ever played it, but this is like a song for a level that never existed. :P

Ramn0 responds:

No, i havent played it. But it has been on my wishlist for a while.

Anyways im happy that i could recreate the feeling of such franchise.

I hope to play the whole trilogy some day.

Can you take control of Megaman and Zero and stop the Burglin' Bros from stealing Sigma's scattered pieces?

Haha, it's got a cool SNES feel to it while still being totally cool on it's own. Diggin' the chord progression how it swings from chill to triumphant and then chill again.

I dig this!
It's even got an unintentional Mario Kart feel to it with the synth and the bells. :P

Get poured a cold one and sit back washing down the disqualified blues away...

Haha, this is a pretty good piece, so the bar must be pretty high for NGUAC. No matter, you'll get 'em next time.

The instruments sound very authentic, so I'm not sure if you record some or some of all your instruments, but it certainly sounds real. Drum has that nice steady rhythm and the guitar keeps switching up the chords on a constant basis to keep the song from getting repetitive or predictable.

Not being a musician in the real sense, I 'think' you've added a tiny bit of reverb to try to emulate the live feel of being in a bar a little bit more. Might just be my ears playing tricks on me though. lol

Keep it up dude! The blues can only last for so long. :P

Soundslave responds:

my train was a coming cheers for the comment

The song changes genres so much I figured you were going for comedy with this song. :P

The parts on their own are well made, and while the transitions are usually fairly abrupt, the transitions from techno into a slightly different variation of electronic are pretty smooth and have good flow.

The parts that are more sparse in the instrument department are full of random sound effects like coughing, clip loading and bullets dropping that make it sound like this all comes from a clip or movie of some kind. Not sure if you took samples but that's what it sounded like. At the same time looking at your tags this was clearly a goofy music exercise...that worked out well might I add!

Funnily enough, the frequently changing moods of the song reminds me of some of the super long techno compilations me and my bro would listen to when we would play super long and grindy RPGs. haha

The song is half good half random, but it's still semi-enjoyable to listen to. :)
Keep up the good work.

BurneMusic responds:

its a shitpost that's meant to just be random how on earth can you enjoy that

It's a well composed song with quite a bit of diversity, but I sure do wish Steve would've told us about the view over them mountains...oh well.

Ah yeah!
Pefect music for two cyborgs having a dance battle in the back alleys of Future City! :D

Mixing that rad bass with the heavier synths and the much softer jazz organ made for a really great song. Song diversity is plentiful and the progression is at a nice steady clip.

Throw in some Ratchet and Clank references in there with the synths (at least, I think you did) and you've got one heck of a track.

Nice work man!

It's got kind of a Paper Mario And The Thousand Year Door feel to it, and I'd say the section of 1:48 onward is the most diverse part of the whole song. If you felt like re-configuring this whole song one day, that chunk would be the part to start with. :)

Keep it up!

YHTFLKC responds:

Thanks for the review, I'll keep all that in mind whenever I pull the file up sometime!

I certainly do like this song, to the point where I've listened to it a couple times in a row, but it seems like it's missing something, y'know?

In terms of progression you have the beat at the beginning, then the chillhop comes in, and then later the rapper shows up along with a few extra noises. After that the song pretty much stays the exact same.

It feels like the song needs a few more steps. An increase in energy or some more instruments, a solo or anything to add to the songs progression.

A chill start though, I do hope you revisit this and flesh it out a bit more.
Keep it up dude! :)
