"I am the jungle."
(calmly proceeds to photosynthesize peacefully)
Super ambitious with the background and clothing details. On top of that, a lizard person has scales that bump up the crosshatching and linework even further.
As such, while the piece overall is plenty rad, I can see the instances where the background leaves that are supposed to be pointed are rounded by the felt marker, and some of the feather details being rushed slightly in a case of 'I want this drawing to be done already'.
I can tell all the love went into the Warrior-Priestess' face and pose, since it's the focus of the image and all. The temple in the background looks a tiny bit rushed with the line shading towards the right hand side, but otherwise it fits the bill for what you wanted to do, especially being far in the background in a black and white piece.
The cool points of course go into her glowing eye's reflection in her big scary blade. You did a real good job there and it ties things up nice.
Overall great!
Just like always, I recommend doing a smaller piece when the super ambitious stuff can get a little tedious with the tiny details.
Keep it up! :D
