This is some fluid stuff, good call using the smear to make the little thing fall faster. :)

On another note, I really like how you made the ice cave, lots of bumps and crags that make it look like it formed over a long time. I might have to study this in my free time to make my cave drawings suck less. :P

Keep it up!

I really like how you shaded all the rocks and especially the background, so much so I might need to study this drawing later to learn some tricks.

Oh! The image as a whole is good too. That's a cool skull bike. :P

Really really appreciate this, getting so happy of this kind of comments haha :D!
Hmm.. maybe I need to do a speeddrawing video soon to a new piece so maybe you can get a closer look how I working me forward :) But once again, fun to see you liked it :)

It's goofy but I like it. :P

Coming to the PS1 this Fall! :P

First off, I love that dino's face and this paint type style you're using. :P

I think that the Cliff Dino's shadow is too harsh compared to the rest of the shadows, which come in a bit more gradually and are not quite as dark.

Having the (screen) left side of the Dino's cheek and the cliff he's leaning on more lit by sunlight would make it so less details are hidden, as well they'd act as nice highlights and would still make the Dino look mysterious.

Another thing is that I think the Dino Rider's hat is too close in colour to the cliff at the top, which makes the hat is making a tangent. Making the top of the cliff slightly darker should fix this though.

Other than that, this is great!
Keep it up my friend. :P

Aside from questioning her decision to run through the spike corridor and then lean onto an OBVIOUSLY trapped wall, I thought she was a fun character. :P
She never really got on my nerves.

10/10, would help.

That's some substantial improvement!
With the image scaled down to fit onto the page the 2nd version almost looks photo realistic! :D

I really like the colorfulness of the first version, but I also really enjoy the contrast of the warm sunset and the cool snow of the second version. Althout I'd saw that the 2nd version has better composition and the little bear benefits from being bigger and getting more details.

Keep it up! :)

Awesome feedback thank you so much! Glad you think so:)

Not bad!
Do you draw shadows and highlights in flat colours and then blur them to get the colour transitions you want? Or do you use a different technique?

Just asking 'cuz I like the glowy effect you've got going on here. :P

dogdoujin responds:

Thanks! I used a few different layers here, some shading was done in flats and others were done with an airbrush/blur tool to make it look a little foggy.

The tree that always magically had food in it made me slightly jealous while watching the show. :P

On a side note, I like the shading and highlights you used to make the base colours pop out.

Cave Of The Cyrstal Knee-monchers. :P

In terms of postitioning and composition this looks super good, however one thing kinda stands out to me. (Keeping in mind I'm no expert on anatomy or anything, or what style you're goin' for...) Her legs just seem a wee-bit too long in relation to her torso and head.

Other than that, this is a fine piece you got going on here.
Keep it up! :D

Rocktopus64 responds:

Thank you very much!

Colleen is a really tall girl (she's 6 feet tall), and really skinny. Though thank you for the feedback; I'll make note of it for next time.
