He was having a great time, and then he had a blast.
-----------------
Nice one! Quick'n cartoony character, but he had good volume control with his movements.
Only thing animation wise to point out is with the most extreme piano playing, the keys wouldn't always move and the piano was just a static prop.

Otherwise, short'n sweet and not much to point out. lol

Keep it up! :D

DoodlingHitman responds:

Haha, thanks! Yeah, I went subtle with the piano itself. The keys do get pressed, but it's only for 1 frame. and the piano does move ever so slightly whenever he touches it. it moves most when he bounces on it with his butt, lol

glad you liked it! I will definitely try to make more animations like this

While the rest of 5-Second-Day went off without a hitch, the Titular Mouse was sent to HR to ask why he made such a big spectacle about testicles. :P

When all else fails, do it yourself! :D

Very good stuff. It's clear you've been trainin' and learnin' compared to the one from a few years ago, so there's very little I can point out that wouldn't just be tiny nitpicks along the lines of personal preference.

That said, I will point out one thing. :P
By the time he snaps his own leg, his face makes a very cartoony 'before the pain sets in' expression. When he lands on the ground though before screaming, his head shrinks and he doesn't look as rattled.

Keeping his head a bit bigger like it was in the initial snappage keeps the pain in his face show consistently so he doesn't look like he calmed down before yelling. lol

Good work all around though! :D

It's a good thing he thought, otherwise he wouldn't be.

Those are also some very detailed spies. :)

50% coupon huh? That's pretty good.

Aside from being fun to watch, whole thing looks like a colour theory assignment in a good way! Staging is good and the colours all seem to be based on what time of day it is.

The part where Pluma's talking, while funny, has much more limited animation and no lip-sync. Reading the description I know that having super fluid animation the whole way through wasn't the intention, but it was still worth pointing out. If the Director's Cut edition comes out and Pluma gets full animation, then I'd have zero criticism. haha

Great work! :D

It takes some serious willpower to channel stubbed toe pain into a song, I just kinda yell. lol

(Also this is some nice fluid animation! Frame by framing your motion tweens of the background taught me that you kept the wall shading on a separate layer, and had the lineart and characters on others to keep the detail. Very clever!)

But then after some exploration you get Monzaemon, and everything is alright again. :P

This got a bunch of loud chuckles out of me, this is wonderful and random. :P

Espresso sounds just as tired as I thought she would when I first saw her design. :P

As for posting more shorts on Newgrounds, of course!
Some of my favorite videos here are only like 5-20 seconds. It's the quality of the art and the punch lines/entertainment that matter more than mere duration. So go for it dude!

This is like one of those dreams where everyone is insane but you, and your warnings keep falling on deaf ears. :P
