Wish the herons where I live could play bass. :P

Nice work with the use of complimentary colours in this piece, with the blue of the heron and the sunset/sunrise in the background; makes everything pop out.

Not to mention that the Heron looks like it's having a blast.

Great work all around!

JJColours responds:

Your comment means a lot to me, it was by request that the heron be joyful, I'm glad I could express that clearly :) Thank you!

Hopefully the Titans leave them alone long enough to enjoy this touching moment. :P

The outlines are a little bit sketchy but I'm almost certain that was the art style you were going for.
Other than that the characters look on model and well drawn complete with shading.
Only thing that would spruce this up would be a cool background, but in terms of character art this is pretty darn good.

Keep up the great work man!

The part leading up to the hammer head looks a little bit too thin and a tiny bit crooked compared to the base and handle. Widen that part a bit and it'll look like a functional hammer in no time!

In all seriousness though the hammer looks fine, especially in regards to the Worm Universe. :P

DoodlingHitman responds:

Thanks! :D

I like to imagine they're just yelling "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!". :P

THIS IS AMAZING! 8D

You got my face to look amazingly accurate to the reference photos I sent and managed to give it cool style at the same time.

You were also able to get that RPG feel by giving me those gauntlets with differently coloured orbs. Certainly makes it seem like I'd been opening chests for a little while. :P

AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT SKY! I sure hope I get to see the Northern Lights when they look that cool someday.

Phenomenal work, it was worth every penny...even though we don't have pennies in Canada anymore. :P

doublemaximus responds:

Fantastic!!! ahhhh so happy you like it!!! ; 3 ;

With me it's the opposite in the 3D games. I accidentally backflip into oblivion (water) fairly often . :P

DoodlingHitman responds:

I can control it really well in 3D. In fact, it's possible to use double jump to just jump up straight instead of going forward or backwards.

I liekz dat. :]

This is done with pixels!?
Oh my god this is amazing...

The flow of movement from the girl and the constant changing of colours from the ribbon (which must have taken FOREVER based on my own knowledge from animating with Paint) shows the sheer amount of effort that went into this.

The only thing I could suggest being changed is that small wooden shelf on the left. The perspective and the angle indicates that it is slanted and that the stuff would fall off. Changing the front most line to be straighter would make the shelf level and prevent that apple from falling on the floor. In the grand scheme of things though this is a very minor critique, for all I know the shelf is supposed to look like that. :P

I am incredibly impressed by all of this, keep up the amazing work. :)

CuteNikeChan responds:

Thank you so much!
And thanks for your feedback <3

I also want snow, so I will favorite snow.

Pretty good! It's always cool to see people mimicking painting styles with digital art, shows a level of artistic understanding that I don't have quite yet. :P

I'm no camera angle expert, but judging by the look of that snow it seems pretty deep. I think that the layer of snow resting on them would be visible from the top of the plateaus, based on the amount...BUT like I said I'm no expert on perspective. Merely a suggestion.

Keep up the great work!

The worm got so perturbed it grew a nose. :P

Pretty good for a simple goofy image. Excellent details on the worms helps convey the very important message of 'NYAH!'.

The background is pretty straightforward, although the focus is on the worms themselves. For that I can't really fault you. Should you ever revisit this piece however, it would be a nice touch to add a more elaborate background and some more confused worms.

Keep it up!

DoodlingHitman responds:

Thank you, you sexy person!

Yeah, since I didn't draw since October I kinda just wanted to draw some worms. This took me around 3-4 hours. So I decided not to spend more time on a background.

I should do that more though because I really need to learn how to draw decent backgrounds. I kinda leave those for full comics though.. :p

You've come so far in your artistic journey that I can easily mistake this for official art.
I would have definitely bought a poster of this back when I was watching the show all the time as a little kid. :P

Great work with the all the details and attention to light sources, I can easily picture movement from them as a result of the anatomically correct muscles and bones. Someone definitely did their research before getting started.

The only thing I think that could be improved is the bottom row of teeth on Greymon and MetalGreymon. With the current shading the teeth look a little bit too thin. Rounding it out with a thin shadow of some extra light should give it the 3D look the rest of their teeth have. Perhaps even changing the bottom of the tooth to be rounder could work as well. However, I'm not the foremost expert on lighting, so take my advice with a bag of salt.

You're doing great and you've still got plenty of potential. Keep it up Boco!

P.S I dig that 'Hell ya!" expression all of them share. :P

bocodamondo responds:

thank you ^^
yeah i was looking at some shit ton of images for each evolution form to make sure i get it on-model :P
yeah youre probably right about the teeths, when i was drawing them, i wasnt sure how to draw them there.
but thanks for the review, i appreciate it ^^
