When you're THIS cool...you don't even need ears to wear sunglasses...BD
Nice work! The only minor suggestion I could offer would be with the electricity in the background.
Having it so it forks out and gets smaller as It gets closer to an edge will add to the effect you were going for.
Good work overall!

DoodlingHitman responds:

Nice, thanks for the advice! :D

Thanks to an inside joke between me and my brother I can't help but laugh when I see Bojack. :P
I'm impressed with how consistent you can keep a light source. With all the clothing crumples, long hair and muscles that all of the DBZ characters have, you seem to be able to avoid conflicting shading.
The only critique I can give would be to add a background, but seeing as this image was made for a character based collab, I'm not going to deduct any stars and judge it for what it is.

Great work!

P.S.
If this is your quick drawing, what is your slow? :P

I don't know about you, but I think a human transforming into a vehicle would be pretty painful. :P
Great work on the lineart as well as the shading, working with such a huge size must have taken quite a while. I'm also impressed with the hair details, the lines don't crash into each other and each strand has it's own shading
The only thing that I can point out is the very small piece of shine on the right leg (her left).
I'm no expert on shading, but I think removing that small glimmer from an area that is currently dark would make the lighting match the rest of the light source.

Excellent work! :P

This is some pretty high level concept art!
Judging the anatomy of animals and especially humanoid animals is a little tricky, but everything seems to be proportional and expertly coloured.
The lighting that comes from the electricity can even be seen on the cybernetic limbs, which is great attention to detail.
The only thing I could critique would be the lack of a background, but then again this is a character centric art piece, so that criticism serves no purpose.

I love the Bloody Roar series as well as the other fighting games Beast's Fury draws inspiration from. If I can overcome my paranoia of putting money online, I'd love to make a donation to make this project a reality. :)

Good luck with the game and great work on the art!

Not bad!
I notice that you go for a painting style approach in terms of style.
However your colours seem to overlap in some areas. (The skin colour goes over the shirt and vice versa)
If you could touch some of these areas I think it would help make the image look a little bit better.
Keep it up!

Also on a side note, I think you bear a bit of a resemblance of Trip from the game Façade. :P

ImmaDrawOnYourFace responds:

Yes, I know what you're saying about the colours. I kinda rushed with that because the original image was black and white, so i had to use my photoshop skills to get it in colour, not my painting skills. Next time I do a painting, I will touch that up. Thanks for the constructive crit. And yes, I see where your thinking about Trip. There is some resemblance. Thanks again.

This is neat!
Great work on the lineart, you did a great job making the lines smooth all throughout, same goes for the shading.

Only thing that I can notice that might be able to be improved upon is the left side of the holo-wall. Notice how the green glow bends to match the perspective set by the floor tiles, the blue part of the holo-wall only bends slightly.
Perhaps making the wall bend just a little bit more would fix that.

Other than that I can can't see anything wrong with the drawing.
Excellent work! :P

TerminalMontage responds:

Thanks! Yes I see that. I should've bent it a little more. I'm not gonna bother editing it now, but I'll look out in the future!

This is pretty good!
One suggestion I could offer would be for the mountains in the background.
Notice how the ground and grass have numerous dotted and line details on them? Adding similar rocky details would make the mountains match the rest of the image and would overall make it better. As it stands the mountains only seem to be comprised of a few different colours of grey. Throwing in some more textures would make it seem more mountain like.
Good work!

These drawings remind me of the concept art for Crash Bandicoot, with a night and day version for each type of level. Granted your style is more realistic as opposed to cartoonish. :P

The brickwork of the path is really well done as well as the dirt walls. Only thing I can point out is the vines on the broken column closest to the left side. I could be mistaken, but the vine you drew traveling upwards looks a tiny bit too similar to the grass on top. Changing the vines colour to a slightly different shade of green would make the vine stand out more. However, it could also just be more grass, in which case I AM in fact mistaken.

Excellent work overall!

This is neat!
The colours, shading and lineart is good throughout the entire image.
Only thing I can suggest is on the left of Peach's face. I'm no lighting expert, but I think* adding a small shadow near beside Peaches hair would make the lighting consistent for the entire drawing.

But that's the only thing I can really point out. Good work!

*What I think, I could very well be wrong...:P

Can't say I can blame you, the Wind Waker style is fun to draw. :P

Nice work with the characters and the background. All I can offer in terms of suggestions is adding a few more grass clumps on the island they are standing on, just to add a tiny bit more detail.

Good work overall!
