Holy...the line art in this is nothing short of amazing!
I'd be interested to know what your secret is to get lines that aren't bumpy when using the brush.

Proportions are good as well as the shading, I especially like how you managed to make the clothe crumples unique from other ones on the shirts.
The only thing I can point out that could be improved is near the top of the her head on the left there is a small line that overlaps a couple of other lines on the head.
All things considered it is an incredibly minor critique as there really isn't anything else that I could suggest to improve upon. :P
Excellent work as always!

i dont use the brush, everytime i use the brush for lineart, a part in me dies. no i use the pencil tool for smooth lineart.

This is a really good stencil!
Diggin' the choice of having purple shadows. As well the shading and muscle details are top notch.

The only real thing I can really point out that could be improved slightly would be the small pieces of white that weren't coloured near the line art.
I realize that this was done with stencil and it would be difficult to completely cover everything with colour without risking overlapped colours, but if you ever touched up this drawing digitally it would look perfect.

Excellent work overall!

I like to imagine that once it becomes a Xenomorph it's also smiling. :P

Good shading around the legs and tail, you also did a good job with the blushing face.
I can very easily see this design being on a shirt.

Good work!

This is pretty good!
Face details are great and proportions match the character.
This is a character centred piece of artwork so no point in criticising the lack of background. (Unless you meant to draw her floating in purgatory, in which case you did a good job...:P)

One thing you could improve however would be the shading on Litchi's hair, I think the shininess could go a little bit further down before turning into pure black.

Good work all around though!

I don't have a smart phone, so I can't answer your question about colour saturation. My apologies.

I CAN however say that this is a pretty nice piece of work for being made with only a single finger. :P

The lighting seems consistent with a forward on light source...
Might want to add just a tiny bit of torch light on Skeletrons' right arm if you ever revisit this particular piece of work.

Perhaps even add a few more details on the spider webs and I think you've got a fine piece of art here...good work!

(On a side note, the terraria bosses would look absolutely HORRIFYING in real life...:P )

Whoa, those shoulder cape details...they're incredibly well shaded and coloured, I'm impressed! :D

The line art and colouring is cartoon and colourful, which I'm sure is exactly what you were going for.

There really isn't much for me to critic...

I'm not going to criticise the colouring samples on the side as I'm sure you left them there intentionally to show what went into the shading process.

There's no point in mentioning the background as this was a character centered artwork, but I'm going to anyway...it's a nice wall...:P

With that said, the only real thing I can say point out that could be further improved or looked at again would be Cirrus' left boot. It just looks like some of the colouring from the boot is going past the line art. This could however have been an intentional stylistic choice, in which case nothing needs to be changed on the boots.

Excellent work overall and good luck with your book. :P

doublemaximus responds:

Wow! Thanks for your in depth criticism! Yes, the line art in his boot wasn't meant to pop out (it happens a lot actually and I never notice haha!) Thanks for pointing it out!

Nice work with the texturing, made the drawing look like it was made with real paint!

You also did a good job with proportions, but I can't really criticize the proportions of a monster I don't know about...:P

The only thing I can suggest changing/looking over is the area above monster's collar bone. The texturing just looks a tiny bit smudged and goes above the spikes. This could also be an intentional effect, so I could just be mistaken.

Overall good work!

This is pretty good! Diggin' the art style you've got going on here.

You even did a good with the perspective of the bone, having it change position as it goes off screen. If you could do the same thing with the skull and the torch on the wall the loop would look a little bit better.

Only other thing I can suggest adding would be perhaps adding small dust clouds as the feet land.

Other than that, nice going!

That's some pretty good shading on that tree, I'd almost go as far to say the shading is pretty good all around!

The only real thing that could be improved a little bit better would be the shadow of the fox where it enters the hole, I think the transition to complete darkness could be over a slightly longer distance.

Other than that, good work! :P
