These drawings remind me of the concept art for Crash Bandicoot, with a night and day version for each type of level. Granted your style is more realistic as opposed to cartoonish. :P

The brickwork of the path is really well done as well as the dirt walls. Only thing I can point out is the vines on the broken column closest to the left side. I could be mistaken, but the vine you drew traveling upwards looks a tiny bit too similar to the grass on top. Changing the vines colour to a slightly different shade of green would make the vine stand out more. However, it could also just be more grass, in which case I AM in fact mistaken.

Excellent work overall!

This is neat!
The colours, shading and lineart is good throughout the entire image.
Only thing I can suggest is on the left of Peach's face. I'm no lighting expert, but I think* adding a small shadow near beside Peaches hair would make the lighting consistent for the entire drawing.

But that's the only thing I can really point out. Good work!

*What I think, I could very well be wrong...:P

Can't say I can blame you, the Wind Waker style is fun to draw. :P

Nice work with the characters and the background. All I can offer in terms of suggestions is adding a few more grass clumps on the island they are standing on, just to add a tiny bit more detail.

Good work overall!

"A fine day for fisticuffs if I do say so myself!"

Excellent work on this piece, the robot is well drawn and the shadows give an interesting comic book style.
Something that might not have been intentional is on the building on the right. This could be a small piece of shadow that might've been forgotten to be erased, or it is a crack in the wall or a feather from one of the birds flying above SteamBOT II. In which case it WAS intentional.

Good work overall! :P

Doctor: Now say 'aaah'...
Monster: 'Aaaaaaaaaa-'

Cool looking beast you got here! I'd be interested to see a full body shot of this thing.
Shading and colouring seem pretty good, and you seemed to do a good job making it anatomically proportional (in regards to the monster, I'm not going off human anatomy here...:P)

Good work!

Nice work on the candle details, you really seemed to get the melty/goopy effect to show!
Anatomy and facial details seem pretty good as well as the clothing shading.
The only real thing I can point out that could be tweaked slightly would be Lorne's left leg.

His left thigh is just a little bit thinner than his right thigh...but then again, I don't know what illness he has. For all I know he has degenerating muscles in his leg, in which case it makes sense. :P

Other than that I don't see anything else wrong with this drawing, good work!

doublemaximus responds:

AH yes I noticed his leg too after I posted it! I couldn't tell if it still looked right from the angle or what, but yeah I should have paid more attention, haha. Thank you!

This is a nice lookin' bird!
The background is well drawn as well.
One thing that could be improved is the perspective of the birds head feathers. As they are now it looks like the feathers are more horizontal as opposed to vertical. If the feathers were adjusted slightly to the side it would solve that problem (unless it was intentional, in which case nevermind...)

Good work overall! :P

This is pretty good!
Nice job with all of the shading on the metal armour.

As for a name for this guy?
He looks like his name would be Brutus. :P

The details on the Xenomorph are superb, looks like you spend a lot of time on them!
Great work! :P

ionrayner responds:

Thank you, Syrupmasterz! In fact, it didn't take me much more time than I expected, but I thought it was ok at the end

Neat piece of fan-art here!
You did a really good job capturing the art style of the game with your choice of colours.
Seems like a blend of the game play art mixed with the cutscene drawings.

The only real thing I can critique is the small line going through Gary's legs.
It might be a wall in the background but Its hard to tell. It could be a wall that is slowly fading into the background, but this is purely speculation...:P

(Not going to mention scanner quality as that is out of your control, I'm only observing what YOU did with the drawing)

Other than that, good work! :P

dominiichan responds:

thanks
1. small line going through the legs was going to be a painted in background... gave up so not going to do that...

2. I don't use a scanner... I use a camera... that's why the quality is crap XD
