I imagine that when you don't tell people your real name and everyone just starts calling you 'The Betrayer', you are probably a giant jerk.
...THAT, or his name was really unfitting for an undead general...like Billy Bob...

I'm actually pretty sure Blackspear would LOVE to tell everyone his name. Problem being that he sort of sacrificed it to an eternal hell-flame, along with the rest of his soul, and so now he literally doesn't have one. It just sort of vanished from all written records and all living memory.
As opposed to "No-One", another one of the five rat pack leaders alongside Blackspear, who IS just a shifty asshole that doesn't tell anyone his real name.
But in the grand tome of forbidden cosmic knowledge it is now canon that Blackspear's name was, in truth, Billy Bob. It is done.
Lies and slander.
You were in control the whole time you made this. :P
(your anatomy skills are getting better by the way. Just keep an eye out for shoulder connections and wrists, since there are dips and musculature that I make mistakes on myself as well)
All your fault, next time don't make a character so fun to draw.
If birds aren't real...what's actually inside the birdcage at my place!?
Good work converting the sketch into a colored piece!
Only thing standing out is that the speaker the Harpy Girl is sitting on isn't casting a shadow while the characters are. Might've been done for contrast purposes, but otherwise nothing else seems overtly off.
Keep it up! :D
They are government droness DONT LET THEM DECEIVE U!! lol
Thank you :D
I'm pretty happy with it. I still struggle with shading. I wasn't sure how I would do the shadow for the speaker. Whether it is hid behind the speaker or something like that.
The big goofy nose and round glasses instantly make me think of Mr. Dink from Doug. :P
Otherwise, this bug fellow has a pretty nifty and unique design.
Keep it up!
youre the 2nd person who's told me he looks like mr dink lol
How slippery is this floor?! He keeps slippin'! D:
Nice work!
Not sure if it's a deliberate art choice, but the line of Skate Snail seems to get much thinner when he shakes his head rapidly in contrast to the the thicker lines he has normally.
Keepin' line thickness consistent when using pressure sensitivity is always tricky, but overall it's looking pretty snazzy overall.
Keep it up!
Yeah, someone else pointed this out on DeviantArt with regards to his crouching sprite (In that the outlines were noticeably thicker).
I'm trying to keep the sprites well-drawn and consistent, but seeing as how game development is already a huge time investment, ESPECIALLY when you're working alone, I've also been adopting a bit of a "good enough" attitude and moving on to the next thing.
When I've got a fever I eat ice cream to cool my brain from the inside, soup is still thoughtful though.
Good stuff, but the bed looks a little bit short. If your buddy was lying all the way down, his legs would be hanging off the edge.
Other than that, I like the Amogus-y design of the hazmat suit and I like how the interior is blue-shaded from the face-shield. Keep it up dude!
Dang I should’ve realized the bed was too short lmao
Either this Universe's God is ultra spooky, or this Arch-Fiend fellow is very sadistic and unscrupulous.
Chilling stuff dude! I'd say that the piece as a whole works, but the foreground elements are just a little bit squiggly and loose compared to other elements that were shaded a bit more carefully.
Understandable of course, working with felts and wanting to get the piece out. Been there myself tons of times working on art projects. That said, sometimes a tiny bit of extra time can make a noticeable difference in quality.
Either, keep up the stellar work! :D
Understandable criticism, I'd be lying if I said it wasn't rushed near the end. I'll carry it with me going forward.
It's funny how this guy in the 1st Digimon World game is an ultra accommodating and hard working mansion owner, and in the show he's basically the incarnate of evil. Talk about wearing a lot of hats eh? :P
Nice style!
Plenty cartoony but with lots of detail and satisfying colours.
lmao you're totally right.
And thanks!
Brandy is either ultra-confident in Cym's abilities in fighting huge demons, or he was bribed to remain neutral with ice cream. :P
Hot dang! This is all some great stuff. When I'm not so busy I'll try my hand at adding to the gif pile as well.
Just like old times B)
With that castle in the background, pictures like these makes me think about what happens to all the monsters in RPG games when the big bad villain is defeated by the heroes.
Instead of just scampering off into the woods to get away from humanity, the monsters just become more peaceful and gradually become a part of a healthy and supportive community. :P
Funny and well rendered, I'd just suggest that a few of the clouds get a tiny bit more detail since the flower petals in the foreground are getting the blur effect, so things in the background and mid-ground would be nice and crisp as a result.
Otherwise, superb work! 3.75 / 5
Thanks
