" Also, plz ignore my awful lineart, idk what I'm doing¯\_(ツ)_/¯ "

As far as sketchy line arts go, I wouldn't worry too much.
Just keep practicing and your lines will become more controlled if that's what you are after. 'Cuz hey! There is no rule against having a stylistic line choice the one you just used. :P

The cloth and wall details are good, and you emulated the spooky pale skin shading from the game pretty well. Only thing I can suggest looking into more reference with is the floor boards.
A few of the smudges make the perspective seem a little bit flat, but other than that I can't think of anything else to point out.

Don't beat yourself up too much. :P
Keep up the great work!

lilotterqueen responds:

Thankyou so much! I'll try to work on all the stuff you mentioned, thanks for the advice~

I have a mini card set because my brother got them from a school Secret Santa one year...AS WELL I can say that I like the camera angle and composition in this particular comic. :P

DoodlingHitman responds:

That's neato. I haven't played an actual game with these cards yet however. Seems funny though. And yeah, I took several pictures because it was kinda hard to get it right. I needed to make the focus go somewhere, and best place to do so seemed to be the cards at the front. Because objects further away need to seem blurry.

I'm glad you like it, Syrup! :]

Certainly not the most handicap-accessible shrine out there...:P

You did a wonderful job with the rock and water details, and the great attention to lighting effects brought the whole thing to life. People working to create 3D works from this image would have no problem trying to figure out exactly what you wanted.

Awesome job!

Cope2K responds:

Haha yeah I need to add a ramp in there or something :D

Glad this would translate to 3D with ease tho! Thanks for the comment!

I hate spilling stuff on my clothes...nothing but regret for the rest of the day...lol

You did a great job with the anatomy (although I think the right arm is a little bit too short, but I'm no anatomy expert) and gave her a good pose. At the same time though the background is pretty barebones.

I'm almost 100% sure that was the intention seeing as this is a character centric art piece, but adding a background and or fully drawn ledge would definitely add to the picture as a whole.

All that said this is a pretty cool drawing. Keep it up Boco! :P

bocodamondo responds:

yeah i know i fucked up the arm, i obviously got problems with foreshortening ^^
i didnt add background more for time problems, didnt had the time to put all that effort into a quick drawing like this

I saw a Ram when my family was driving thru the Rocky Mountains; it was pretty cool...kinda like this drawing. :P

Great work with the shading work, especially near the Ram's face. I can even make out skeletal and muscle details through the fur! You must have had some top notch reference images. :)

Keep it up!

SimonT responds:

Hah thanks mate :)

It's cool to see the evolution they underwent, except for them it didn't take 100,000+ years. :P

DoodlingHitman responds:

Well.. evolution.. they didn't undergo much ,lol. And neither have I made many comics with them. I definitely want to change that though. But, my main focus is kinda Worms.

I changed them mainly because I knew that it would be difficult to draw certain poses without any limbs. Thus, I made them this way.

Thanks for liking it. :]

Wuv u *smooch*

Wish the herons where I live could play bass. :P

Nice work with the use of complimentary colours in this piece, with the blue of the heron and the sunset/sunrise in the background; makes everything pop out.

Not to mention that the Heron looks like it's having a blast.

Great work all around!

JJColours responds:

Your comment means a lot to me, it was by request that the heron be joyful, I'm glad I could express that clearly :) Thank you!

The part leading up to the hammer head looks a little bit too thin and a tiny bit crooked compared to the base and handle. Widen that part a bit and it'll look like a functional hammer in no time!

In all seriousness though the hammer looks fine, especially in regards to the Worm Universe. :P

DoodlingHitman responds:

Thanks! :D

THIS IS AMAZING! 8D

You got my face to look amazingly accurate to the reference photos I sent and managed to give it cool style at the same time.

You were also able to get that RPG feel by giving me those gauntlets with differently coloured orbs. Certainly makes it seem like I'd been opening chests for a little while. :P

AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THAT SKY! I sure hope I get to see the Northern Lights when they look that cool someday.

Phenomenal work, it was worth every penny...even though we don't have pennies in Canada anymore. :P

doublemaximus responds:

Fantastic!!! ahhhh so happy you like it!!! ; 3 ;

With me it's the opposite in the 3D games. I accidentally backflip into oblivion (water) fairly often . :P

DoodlingHitman responds:

I can control it really well in 3D. In fact, it's possible to use double jump to just jump up straight instead of going forward or backwards.

I liekz dat. :]
